Plugin Activation

Once you have installed the Supervised AI Bots plugin, you must activate it to enable the chatbot management interface and shortcode functionality.

Activating the Plugin

Follow these steps to activate the plugin within your WordPress dashboard:

1. Log in to your WordPress Administrative Dashboard.
2. Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins in the left-hand sidebar.
3. Locate Supervised AI Bots in your list of plugins.
4. Click the Activate link.

Upon successful activation, the plugin will initialize the necessary database options to store your chatbot configurations.

Locating the Management Interface

After activation, a new menu item labeled Supervised AI Bots will appear in your WordPress admin sidebar. This is your central hub for managing your AI integrations.

To access the configuration screen:

1. Click on Supervised AI Bots in the sidebar menu.
2. You will be directed to the settings page where you can input your Supervised AI URLs.

[!TIP] If you do not see the "Supervised AI Bots" menu item immediately after activation, try refreshing your browser page.

Verifying Activation

To ensure the plugin is active and ready for use:

• Check the Sidebar: Ensure the "Supervised AI Bots" menu item is visible.
• Test the Shortcode: Create a draft post and insert the default shortcode: [supervised_ai_bot id="1"]. If the plugin is active, it will attempt to render the chatbot container rather than displaying the raw text.

Once activated and located, you can proceed to add your chatbot URLs to begin displaying AI assistants on your site.
